Fairytale is a French heirloom pumpkin variety with a Cinderella shape and an unusual buckskin color at maturity. Fairytale weighs an average of 15 lbs. and has a flat shape, 6" deep by 15" wide, making for a beautiful harvest to display. It is heavily ridged or scalloped shaped and has a delicious flesh that is perfect for baking pies, cooking soups and making other dishes. A fairy tale pumpkin can also be used for decorative purposes on Halloween. This pumpkin has a long shelf life and stores for about 3 months.

The plant prefers full sunlight exposure and thrives during the summer. Fairy tale pumpkin seeds are fairly easy to grow. All they need is the right weather conditions and well-drained soil that is rich in organic materials to sprout and produce fruit. Growers will need a large enough area for the plants to grow their vines outward. The pumpkins will be ready to harvest in about 125 days.
