This high-yielding beet produces uniform globe-shaped roots with dark red color and low zoning. Red Atlas has high-quality roots with high sugar content at 12-15% Brix and are versatile for fresh market bunches or processing. The upright bright green plants are 14-15" tall and slow to bolt, with intermediate resistance to Cercospora, Downy Mildew, and Powdery Mildew.
