The Whittier oxford is a design straight from the mind of Mr. FitzPatrick: The hand-stitched apron detail and false heel counter create a one-of-a-kind pattern on what is, underneath it all, a classic wholecut oxford. The resulting model has proven an enduring favorite among J.FitzPatrick staff and customers alike, and for the first time is available for purchase with a hand-dyed patina by artist Hancore.

The Ivy Leaf patina was originally created by Hancore for our Pullman austerity brogue, and this month he has adapted it to the handsome Whittier oxford, for a new version of his patina so rich in depth and color. The green-base coloring darkens and lightens throughout the shoe, creating an impression of hanging ivy: Some leaves exposed to direct sunlight, and others shaded by the ones above.
