This is a very clever gadget. Once you get used to using it as a bidet, it's definitely something you feel inclined to keep using. It's really nice to feel clean and hygenic after a BM, because toilet paper alone cannot get you the level of cleanliness I'd prefer. I should say I'm reviewing this from a male's perspective: It seems easier to use for cleaning up when I go at it from behind. You may be laughing at the point, but my puns are actually unintended. I understand females would feel concerned about using a front to back direction, as it would seem more practical and hygenic perhaps? I can't say for sure.
That said, the only thing that took some getting used to was the logistics of getting the whole thing, water bottle attached, into the right position for effective spraying. The water supply is from a small-ish type of water bottle attached to the device with an adapter they supply. For men, it might seem best to slide forward and then lower the unit from behind, where you can hit the targeted area perfectly (especially if you lean forward a bit). It's been my experience that in using this method the water flow and off-drainage is optimal and all stays inside the toilet bowl. It just seemed like a lot to get inside the toilet along with your bum, but it can work.
The device feels sturdy and delivers a three-speed spray which pulsates and does a really good job. It actually does such a good job, I feel inclined to invest in a permanently installed bidet in my toilet. That aside however, for the price, the portability, and the effectiveness, I recommend it highly.
