Created in China during the Midcentury period, this Han Dynasty style bronze Hu vase shaped table lamp has been rewired for the US and is ready to be plugged. A Hu is a type of pear-shaped wine vessel with a body that swells and flares into a narrow neck, creating an S-shaped silhouette.

Adorned with a perfectly organized arrangement of scrollwork motifs discreetly accented with pyramidal patterns, the lamp is flanked with ring pulls each attached to the mouth of a mythical animal. Raised on a reddish brown wooden base echoing the lamp's top, the lamp measures 24.25"H to the top of its socket.
