Red Norland potatoes are great for cooking-boiling, frying, roasting, French frying, and salads. This is an outstanding dark red potato with bright white inner flesh that offers both great flavor and appeal. Potatoes are oblong, smooth, slightly flattened, with shallow eyes. Red Norland was specifically developed for northern growers and short seasons, but found to be widely adaptable. It offers easy peeling and is a good keeper, but loses color intensity in long term storage. The compact plants are ideal for small gardens. Maturity: 90-100 days. Hardiness zones 3-9.
