Svea is a marbled purple stripe type hardneck garlic with beautiful purple and white wrappers. Svea has 4-7 large purple-brown cloves per bulb. With a hot and spicy flavor that mellows as it is cooked, this garlic is great for baking. Scapes can be harvested and used for cooking before the garlic itself is actually harvested. Medium term storage. Hardiness Zones 5-9. Bulb size 1.5-2".
