This hybrid is considered a standard in some cabbage growing areas of the United States. A larger head size than Green Cup, Blue Vantage ranks high for the fresh and coleslaw markets. It combines good wrapper leaves, short cores and disease resistance with excellent field holding ability. Widely used for spring and summer sowings in cool temperate regions as well as for spring crops in warmer, frost-free zones.
