If Fusarium wilt is a challenge in your growing area, then you'll want to use Accomplice as a pollinator for your seedless watermelons. Along with intermediate resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0 and 1), it also offers resistance to Anthracnose (race 1). Its small vine, which does not compete with seedless watermelon varieties, is a prolific producer of male flowers throughout the entire crop cycle. As with Side Kick watermelons, plant one Accomplice between each third and forth plant for optimum pollination. Also, the fruit produced by Accomplice are small and easily distinguishable from all seedless watermelon varieties.
