If you grow in an area with a short growing season or need a small pumpkin variety to make up some planting time late in the season, then Early Abundance is the variety to use. Semi-vining plants produce good yields of 4 to 7 lb. fruit that have shallow ribs and a dark orange color. The fruit are uniformly round in shape and have strong, well-attached stems. Early Abundance pumpkin also offers intermediate resistance to powdery mildew.
