A dark green Batavia lettuce with a uniform rectangular leaf and wide petiole suitable for full-head or cut-leaf markets. Starstruck has an excellent field-holding ability and tip burn tolerance and cleans nicely in the field. These Batavia lettuce seeds produce crispy, sweet and juicy leaves that make the perfect addition to many salad dishes.  

These lettuce seeds produce well under cool conditions, but they can also withstand heat better than other lettuce varieties. Starstruck lettuce seeds germinate in six to 10 days and are harvestable when young or mature. The plant resembles a loose-leaf lettuce at baby size, then develops dense, heavy heads at maturity. 

Our crisp lettuce seeds perform best in well-draining, rich soil with full or partial sun exposure. Keep the soil moist until the plant matures for higher germination rates and abundant harvest.
