The Snoqualmie Boot is the ideal city walking boot for the Autumn/Winter season. 

With the Winter months in a rough-weather-city choosing functional yet aesthetically pleasing footwear can be a challenge. With this boot, there are all the necessary functions of a winter boot but this model wouldn't look out of place under a smart pair of trousers for a more formal occasion/meeting. It certainly beats a duck boot! 

The Black Calf Commando version has you covered to wear even under a flannel suit in the challenging seasons but looks best when paired under any kind of denim and/or chinos. This boot, while being casual in nature allows you the best chance of formality for those very rough weather days when wearing normal dress boots simply won't cut it. Anyone who lives in a snowy/heavy rainfall environment will know what we mean. 

While we market this as a city boot, there is no reason you could not take these for dry-hiking. It could withstand rain too, but we do not advise this boot to replace proper hiking boots for long-haul hikes in snowy terrains.
