A large Javanese teak cabinet from the early 20th century, with four drawers, and four sets of double doors. Born on the island of Java in the early years of the 20th century, this robust teak cabinet features a rectangular top sitting above four drawers, each fitted with brass bail handles. The rest of the façade is made of four sets of double doors opening thanks to functioning keys and ring pulls, to reveal shelves offering great storage opportunities. The sides are made of recessed panels and the piece is raised on a simple plinth.
With its great proportions and wonderful patina, this large Javanese teak cabinet will bring a touch of authenticity to any home, particularly placed in a living room, dining room or kitchen.
