Very uniform dark green 3 - 4 lb. heads are produced on a small framed plant. Tender leaves in a dense head offer a mild, peppery, sweet flavor that is just right for fresh slaw or stir fry. It’s the perfect size for boxing or for a CSA share. A great variety to grow along with Integro F1. Farao is tip-burn resistant.

Our organic cabbage Farao seeds are clean and untreated and can be used for Certified Organic production. This hybrid variety grows a layer of loose, protective outer leaves around the compact head. You can start growing organic cabbage seeds indoors and transplant the plant outdoors four to six weeks after sowing. 

The soil must be well-drained and enriched with compost for optimal growth. Plant the vegetables with enough spacing for good airflow to prevent rot. Organic cabbage Farao seeds germinate within four to 10 days after sowing and will be ready for harvest in 63 days. Farao cabbage holds well in the field, allowing you to wait slightly longer to harvest before the vegetable splits.
