A Chinese vintage Art Deco style elmwood armchair from the mid-20th century, with pierced back and brown patina. Born in China during the midcentury period, this Chinese elm chair presents the stylistic traits of the Art Deco period. A slightly slanted pierced back, adorned with straight slats and delicately curving motifs, flows seamlessly into the two hind saber-shaped legs. The rectangular seat, flanked with two curving open arms accented with linear supports, rest on the two frontal legs of straight shape.
