A Chinese late Qing Dynasty period refinished pine chest from the early 20th century, with carved feet and brass hardware. Created in China during the late Qing Dynasty period in the early years of the 20th century, this versatile piece would be wonderful used as a coffee table, blanket chest or simple storage unit. The chest features a rectangular planked lid opening thanks to a traditional brass lock to reveal an interior convenient to store any item such as blankets and linens. The chest showcases a dovetail construction visible at the panels' junctions.
The sides present C-scroll handles allowing the piece to be moved more easily. The ensemble is raised on bracket feet.
