Description

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period elm wood coffee table from the 19th century with dragon-carved apron, humpback stretchers and angled spandrels. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this elm wood coffee table features a square top sitting above an elegant apron carved with stylized dragon and auspicious scrolling cloud motifs in the corners. An ornate humpback stretcher with delicate scrolling accents connects the four straight legs to one another on all sides. Upon closer inspection, one will discover angled spandrels linking the legs to the top's underside. The table boasts a warm brown patina complimenting the lines and décor beautifully.
