Description

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period dark brown lacquer side cabinet from the 19th century with fretwork motifs, open shelf and double doors. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty in the 19th century, this side cabinet features a dark reddish brown finish complimenting the lines beautifully. The piece features a rectangular top with central slightly raised board and nicely distressed patina, sitting above an open shelf surrounded by a fretwork décor. A pair of double doors below, fitted with a traditional brass medallion lock, open to reveal a small storage area. The cabinet is raised on four straight feet connected to one another through a carved apron in the front.

The sides showcase recessed panels and the back is simply planked. We review all of our pieces and address issues we may find before they leave for your home; however, this is an antique piece, and as such it will keep its character and some imperfections, which is the quintessence of antique and vintage furniture. With its clean lines, dark reddish brown finish and fretwork design, this Chinese Qing Dynasty period side cabinet from the 19th century will bring a touch of exotic elegance to any home, whether placed in a living room, bedroom or hallway.
