A Chinese Qing Dynasty period dark brown lacquer side cabinet from the 19th century with fretwork motifs, open shelf and double doors. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty in the 19th century, this side cabinet features a dark reddish brown finish complimenting the lines beautifully. The piece features a rectangular top with central slightly raised board and nicely distressed patina, sitting above an open shelf surrounded by a fretwork décor. A pair of double doors below, fitted with a traditional brass medallion lock, open to reveal a small storage area. The cabinet is raised on four straight feet connected to one another through a carved apron in the front.
