2-2.5". Persian Star is a Purple Stripe type hardneck
garlic that is excellent for baking. These beautiful medium sized bulbs have
white wrappers with purple tones. Bulbs contain 8-12 cloves with full flavor
but less heat than other comparable varieties. Scapes can be harvested and used
for cooking before the garlic itself is actually harvested. Hardiness zones 3-8.
