Honeyboat Delicata squash has coppery tan fruit with green stripes that are very sweet and just the right size for roasting, single servings, or for the restaurant trade. The flesh of this unusual colored Delicata is high in calcium, potassium, folate and vitamins A & C. The fruits average 1lb. each and are sweet straight from the field. It is a reliable winter squash that stores better than the standard Delicata. The late Dr. James Baggett and his team at Oregon State University introduced Honeyboat Delicata to the growing world in 1990.
