A light brown lacquered Chinese low Kang chest or cabinet from the 19th century. This low Kang chest features three drawers above two doors. The drawers open via simple brass ring pulls while the doors open via simple brass leaf pulls. The doors feature circular brass plates on the hinges as well as supporting the central lock. The natural wood of this low Kang cabinet features a wonderful patina of honey or amber hue.
